About Lime Division

Lime Division is the music universe of Martin Lyder, a Danish producer, engineer and developer who first started making music in the late 90s and early 00s, back when a home studio could be a dusty Amiga 500, a few ideas and a lot of late nights.

Before streaming changed everything, Martin and a friend started Plong Records, a label that never released a song. Years later, after a long break from music, the idea returned in a new form.

Lime Division is a fictional production collective, built around three artists: Janny Jane, Tracy Simpson and Dan Johnson. Each has their own voice, attitude and place in the story.

Think of it like a movie told through songs, videos and social media.

Janny Jane brings the emotion, the pop drama and the neon-lit memories. Tracy Simpson lives closer to the machines, with beats, synths, club energy, late-night studio obsession and world-class rap. Dan Johnson adds the nostalgic edge, singing on retro pop tracks that still feel present.

Behind them all is Martin Lyder, engineering the sound with modern technology, shaping the characters and pulling the threads together into one connected universe.

Musically, Lime Division blends retro pop, synthwave, dance music and digital storytelling into songs about memory, identity, lost time, artificial dreams and very real emotions.

Lime Division’s unruly cousins a wild trio of rappers who crash through beats with humor, chaos, and pure analog attitude. They appear as guest artists on several Lime Division tracks, serving as a sidechain of energy and grit, bridging electro, funk, and old-school hip-hop into something completely their own.
